Your privacy is important to us at EEC Trading Ltd. Under data protection legislation, we need to let you know how
we care for your information. EEC Trading Ltd is the data controller and can be contacted by via email at

Clients and those in contact with the Centre

Your name, contact details and other information you provide to us may be stored electronically or securely in paper form. This information will be stored securely, either electronically with password protection, or in locked drawers or cabinets.

Employees

We collect the following personal information - your name, telephone number, address, email address and bank account details, and any other details required by law. The personal data you provide in your application and as part of the recruitment process will only be held and processed for the purpose of selection processes and in connection with any subsequent employment or placement, unless otherwise indicated. Your data will be retained only for as long as is permitted by UK legislation and then destroyed.

We are collecting this information to enable the Centre to keep in touch with you to service your business requirements. Data protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in our legitimate interest.

Employees

We are collecting this information to enable us to enter into a contract of employment with you. If you are unable to provide this information then we will be unable to enter into that contract.

Sharing data

We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except as you might reasonably expect (e.g. if you book a service through us which involves a third-party supplier and data sharing is required), or as required by law.

Your rights under GDPR

Under data protection legislation, you have the right to request access to information about you that we hold.

You also have the right to:

  • object to processing of personal data that is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress

  • prevent processing for the purpose of direct marketing

  • object to decisions being taken by automated means

  • in certain circumstances, have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed; and

  • claim compensation for damages caused by a breach of the data protection regulations

We review our data protection policy annually. The last review date was January 2024.
